Members will recall that in December 2006 the board decided that whilst the regions would remain, from an administrative point of view, any board member would be a point of contact if you had a query. The reason for this was that we did not have sufficient directors to cover each individual region at the time.
Happily this situation has now reversed and we are delighted to detail below a contact point for each region. We have also decided to separate out student members whilst they are training.
Region 1 (Scotland) - Sarah O’Hara Region 2 (North East) - Anne Newham Region 3 (North West) - Suzanne Elliott Region 4 (Midlands) - Teresa Harrison Region 5 (London) - Siobhan Clarke Region 6 (South East) - Susanna Everton Region 7 (South West) - Kate Kyne Region 8 (International) - Linda Riseborough to coordinate Student members - Diana Snelgrove
Whilst some of the directors may be distant from your region, please do use them as a contact point if you have any queries about the Association, want information/guidance about any topic related to occupational health nursing or if you would like us to arrange a workshop / event on a particular subject. Alternatively you can contact me and I will forward your request to the relevant director. January 2010
Regional events are arranged by the directors and administrator on an ad hoc basis when relevant topics of interest are thought to be mutually beneficial to our members. If you have a particular topic you would like discussed then please let the administrator know and she will endeavour to source speakers, venue etc. Alternatively, as a member of the Association, you have access to the Members Networking Directory so direct contact can be made with other local OH nurses.
