The AOHNP (UK) was founded in 1992 to increase representation and raise the profile of occupational health nurses. It is now the only respected professional organisation solely representing this professional group of occupational health nurse practitioners working across all sectors of UK industry and at all levels of employment from service directors to students.

Professional Development

The AGM, which is held in autumn each year, is followed by the Good Practice Forum (GPF). The GPF is open to non-members. In 2017 this will be held at the Mercure House Hotel and Spa in Bristol with a presentation on Occupational Lung Disease by Lungs at Work, the Brompton and Harefield Hospitals’ Education Department. Ruth Alston Memorial Lecture (RAML)

This lecture and dinner is held annually at the NEC between the two days of the HWB conference. In 2017 whis will be held on Tues 7th March at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, further details can be found on our HWB / RAML web page
